Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Welcome to Plural Studio.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Plural Studio website and to any workshop booking or other service purchased through our website.

By making a booking through our website, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

Plural Studio is a brand operated by:

CLAVE DE SOLSTICIO
NIF: 519554760
Address: Rua Ricardo Espírito Santo 6, 5C, 1200-791, LISBOA
Email: hello@plurastudio.co

Throughout these Terms, “Plural Studio”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to CLAVE DE SOLSTICIO.

2. Our workshops

Plural Studio offers creative workshops and experiences, including our leather journal workshops.

Each workshop listing on our website will provide the relevant information, including:

  • Workshop description;

  • Date and time;

  • Location;

  • Duration;

  • Price;

  • What is included;

  • Any relevant requirements or additional information.

Unless otherwise stated, our workshops are designed for beginners and no previous experience is required.

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to workshop content, materials, instructors or other elements of the experience where necessary, while maintaining the overall nature and quality of the workshop.

3. Booking a workshop

To book a workshop, you must provide the information requested during the booking process and complete payment through our website.

Your booking is confirmed once:

  1. You have completed the booking process;

  2. Payment has been successfully received; and

  3. You receive a booking confirmation from us.

Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.

Your booking is personal to you, unless we have agreed otherwise with you in advance.

4. Prices and payment

All prices displayed on our website are stated in euros and include VAT where applicable, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Payment is processed through Wix Payments or another payment method made available through our website.

By completing a purchase, you authorise the applicable payment provider to process the payment for your booking.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Any price change will not affect a booking that has already been confirmed and paid for.

5. Cancellation and rescheduling by you

We understand that plans can change.

Our standard workshop cancellation and rescheduling policy is:

  • Workshop bookings are non-refundable, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under Portuguese or EU law.

  • You may request to reschedule your booking free of charge if you contact us at least 48 hours before your scheduled workshop.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability.

  • Requests made less than 48 hours before the workshop cannot normally be rescheduled or refunded.

If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@plurastudio.co.

For full details, please see our Workshop Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy.

6. If you miss your workshop

If you do not attend your workshop and have not contacted us in advance, your booking will normally be considered used and will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

If an unexpected circumstance prevents you from attending, please contact us. While we cannot guarantee a change, we will always try to find a reasonable solution where possible.

7. Arriving late

Please arrive on time for your workshop.

Our workshops are designed as shared experiences and usually have a fixed duration. Arriving late may mean that you miss part of the experience or instructions.

If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we may not be able to repeat activities or extend the workshop beyond its scheduled end time.

8. If Plural Studio cancels or changes a workshop

Occasionally, we may need to cancel, postpone or significantly change a workshop due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control or for operational reasons.

If we cancel or significantly reschedule a workshop, we will contact affected participants as soon as reasonably possible.

Where applicable, you may choose between:

  • Transferring your booking to another available date; or

  • Receiving a refund.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Workshop materials

Unless otherwise stated in the workshop description, the materials necessary to complete the workshop are included in the booking price.

Materials may vary slightly depending on availability.

Because our workshops are handmade and creative experiences, small variations in materials, colours, textures or finishes are part of the nature of the experience and do not constitute a defect.

If a particular material, colour or option is advertised as available for your workshop, we will make reasonable efforts to provide it but may need to substitute it with a similar option where circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary.

10. Workshop safety and participation

Our workshops involve hands-on activities and the use of craft tools and materials.

You agree to follow the instructions provided by the Plural Studio team and to use tools and materials responsibly.

If you have any condition, allergy, injury, accessibility requirement or other circumstance that may affect your participation, please contact us before your workshop so that we can discuss whether reasonable arrangements can be made.

We reserve the right to ask a participant to stop using a tool or participating in an activity if we reasonably believe they are using it in an unsafe manner or creating a risk to themselves or others.

11. Photography and video

We may occasionally take photographs or videos during our workshops for documentation and promotional purposes.

Where identifiable individuals are featured in promotional content, we will seek the appropriate permission or consent where required.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos used for promotional purposes, please let a member of the Plural Studio team know.

Our processing of personal data is further explained in our Privacy Policy.

12. Workshop experience and creative results

Our workshops are hands-on creative experiences.

The final result of a handmade piece may vary from person to person. Differences in stitching, finishing, colour, texture or other details are a natural part of making something by hand and are not considered defects.

Our instructors will guide you through the process, but each participant's finished piece will be unique.

13. Intellectual property

All content on the Plural Studio website and in our workshop materials, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, illustrations, designs, branding and other original content, belongs to Plural Studio or is used with permission.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, modify, sell or commercially exploit our content without our prior written permission.

The workshop experience and instructions are provided for your personal use. You may not reproduce our workshop format, materials, instructional content or other proprietary workshop materials for commercial purposes without our written permission.

14. Website use

You agree to use our website lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems;

  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website;

  • Copy or reproduce website content without permission;

  • Use automated systems to scrape or collect content from the website without our permission.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate or free from errors.

15. Third-party services

Our website uses third-party services to operate certain functions, including website hosting, bookings, payments, email marketing, analytics and advertising.

These may include Wix, Wix Payments, Klaviyo, Google and Meta.

Your use of our website and services may therefore also be subject to the terms and policies of those third parties where applicable.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed in connection with these services.

16. Personal data and privacy

We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”).

For information about what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and your rights, please see our Privacy Policy.

17. Liability

We take reasonable care in providing our workshops and maintaining our website.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Plural Studio will not be responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law.

18. Events beyond our reasonable control

We will not be responsible for failure or delay in providing a workshop where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This may include, for example:

  • Natural disasters;

  • Severe weather;

  • Public health emergencies;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Transport disruptions;

  • Power or infrastructure failures;

  • Serious illness or other unexpected circumstances affecting the workshop team;

  • Other events that could not reasonably have been prevented.

If such circumstances affect a workshop, we will make reasonable efforts to contact participants and, where possible, offer an alternative date or other appropriate solution.

19. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict or exclude any mandatory rights you may have under applicable Portuguese or European consumer protection law.

Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory legal right, the mandatory legal provision will prevail.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable legislation.

The version applicable to your booking is the version in force at the time you make your booking, unless a change is required by law or otherwise applies to an ongoing relationship.

The date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last updated.

21. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights regarding applicable jurisdiction or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.
